We currently offer two website builders (on select servers), namely RVSiteBuilder and Web Presence Builder.
RVSiteBuilder is no longer available on the latest cPanel servers but it has been kept active for legacy reasons.
Web Presence Builder will reach End of Life (EOL) status on December 31, 2017. The developers of the software are no longer updating software and we are required to remove the service from our servers.
Both site builders will be offered for the next three months, at which point they will be removed from our servers.
How does this affect users?
Your current websites built in RVSiteBuilder and Presence Builder will continue functioning as is and won't be affected.
You will, however, be unable to update any content on the websites using the graphical interfaces.
You can manually edit your websites, but it may require some familiarity with HTML or PHP.
The current site builders are being offered during this transition period so that you are able to convert your websites to the new website builder. We will make the new site builder, called Site Pro, available within the next two weeks. If you opt to switch to the new site builder, there is no automated method to convert your website and your projects will, unfortunately, need to be re-created using the new software.
Why Site Pro?
Site Pro is an extremely user-friendly site builder that offers drag and drop functionality. It offers responsive designs from a large variety of templates. The easy to use interface has many plugins to choose from, allowing you to create a multitude of sites to meet your requirements. We are very excited for the software upgrade and we are looking forward to the websites that will be made!
This does not affect users who have created their websites using software available in Softaculous, for example, Wordpress or Joomla. If you are unsure whether you are affected, please log a ticket on our Helpdesk so that we may advise further.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for your ongoing support.
